Oh you're not a jerk, you're just evil. Now what about the secondary abilities of Phoenix? You mentioned that some of the others don't grant all the craziness that they used too. If I recall properly Phoenix would cast Life 2 on your party when summoned in addition to a fire attack. Does Phoenix still retain that ability?

Yes. I wouldn't have given it to the White Mage line if it didn't. Don't expect Pheonix to save you if you die, though. That's not going to happen this time.

Alright, this question has already been posed to the staff, but for those that didn't know, here's a repeat, as suggested by Setzy. What is the situation for Summons in the process of gaining Final Abilities? Is it a prerequisite for Summons to master the Job Class, before they are able to learn the Final Ability of any class in the given level they have just 'mastered' by obtaining 12 AP? And also, is it possible for any Summons that have learnt the Final Ability to a Job in a class level that they've mastered, to just purchase the other Final Abilities of the same level, before even touching the other abilities in that class, before even moving up to the next level?

A summon or villain may take one Final Ability every 12 AP. They don't need to learn all White Mage abilities to learn Holy, but they need to have bought 11 other abilities. For every 12 AP a summon or villain has, they may buy one Final Ability. One with 12 AP can buy one Final Ability from any of the level one jobs. One with 24 may buy one from either the level one or two jobs. One with 36 can buy any Final Ability, and ones with 48, 60, 72, 84, and so on may continue buying any Final Ability they wish.
...I'm talking to you on AIM right now. Why are you posting to ask this? XD

As stated, it was a repeat for any who might benefit from this question, on the site itself.

I have a question.
I have Ultima. Could I be more awesome?
I fear the answer may be no.

Actually, yes. You still have Ultimania to master. The spell, not the other thing.

Really? I would have thought that knowing you could be even more awesome would make you happy. You know you love it.

And, you know, all of the other abilities. An Ultima delivered by Kuja is great but it's not as good as...
...uhh...
...Jeez, I dunno. I was thinking maybe Darkside, but I don't know who would have the physical strength to make it that powerful. Who was the strongest character, physically? Umaro? Kimahri? Sephiroth?

For rizzle... for rizzle... Did I just see this actually typed on my screen? I haven't heard someone say something like that since 1990. Man that brings back memories of a time when life was just swell I kid, I kid. I know I'm not old enough to be nostalgic yet.
