(( ((DON'T YOU DIE ON ME! *quad-casts thundaga on Vincent*)) It took me a moment to get this. XD I guess I shouldn't have asked him a math question. That was pretty cruel of me. We should probably stop spamming this thread, though. >.> ))

Vivi looked over to Vincent, almost surprised to hear him say anything. Vivi had just assumed that he was more of the silent type.
"This is Memoria. A world made up solely of our memories. This is the Auction House in a city named Treno in my world. It is where i grew up. the person that you see over there that looks like me actually is me... about 2 years ago. That was before the world was almost ended by Kuja. the Man next to me with the Tail is Zidane. I think you guys would like him very much. He is a wonderful friend."
Vivi paused for a second to let some of the information that he had told them sink in before he continued. "The Girl on the other side of me is Quee... i mean Princess at the time Garnet, whom we all just called Dagger. She is a very strong souled girl. Tifa, you kind of remind me of her. I expect, though, that as soon as we follow them through the doors we will find the memories of someone else and i will be equally as confused as you guys are now. But since we don't seem to have a while lot of time, i suggest we press on expeditiously. Oh and Vincent, i see you have found some stuff you can use? By all means take it. This world has no effect on the past and is only an illusion to us, but if the illusion is real to our minds, then it is a fragment of the present for us to live in."
With that said, Vivi courageously picked the pace back up and started walking towards the door to the next uncertainty in his life. At least with this one, he was not alone.

"Hm... A world made of memories."
Cloud said thoughtfully, as he looked towards the find Vincent had made. And then wheels started turning in Clouds head.
'Wait a moment... If illusions like materia could be real, then what about memories that have...'
Cloud turned pale as the thought of what could be behind the next door sent his imagination into overdrive. Any of Tifa's, Vincent's, and especially his own memories could prove decidedly lethal.
"Vivi, wait. This world of memory... Can we be attacked by our memories? Especially if these memories are... strong..."
Cloud trailed off, and then mastered himself.
"Vivi, let me go first. If this entire area is made up of our memories, Vincent and I... And even Tifa's memories... They may not be safe. And many of them will not be good."
Cloud said, walking to catch up to Vivi as he motioned to Tifa and Vincent to follow.

Vivi considered everything Cloud said.
"Safe... memories?" he said.
He looked at Cloud, and slowly shifted his gaze to the others.
"Safe memories are the memories you have faced and mastered. Other than that... nothing is safe. Just know that memories can be powerful, but emotions can be even stronger. There is nothing that any of us have faced before that we cannot face again, no matter how painful... how dangerous."
He fell in line behind Cloud as they headed for the door, hoping that he hadn't jinxed himself. He checked his gear and shifted his robes. He steeled himself away for what he... no, they were about to face next.

(( I'll make a post! Since I haven't in so long, I'll probably be a bit out of practice... D= ))
He made a careful assessment of Cloud's distress. It was in fact, highly probable that they could find themselves facing down their worst nightmares -literally- in this place. Vincent carefully decided that he had some memories he would much rather sooner forget than be forced to sit by, and watch them occur, time and again. But it wasn't just him, that could suffer from this place. Cloud and Tifa had equal right to fear.
Cloud had faced down Sephiroth's blade so many times before, and had faced the fears within not just himself, but in the reflected gaze, Sephiroth held him in. Tifa's were no less deadly, having lost her father to the same man once regailed as a hero. The concept alone of facing these again was a deadly vice.
Tifa had already seen Nibelheim, and to see it's ruin shine back at her from her own memories in this hellish place, Vincent couldn't bare the thought of her suffering it again.
Some things needed to be faced, in order to be overcome. Others had no such necessity. Especially when some people had had to bear witness to such a troubling sight not so long ago. Vincent was clearly aware of his ability to stand against his own memories. He would be able to stand strong, placid against them. But Cloud and especially Tifa...they were likely going to be too unnerved by this hell. If he could just head in first, and face his own nightmare, then he'd be fine. He didn't want them to suffer again.
His gaze had never taken a standard position in his pensive moment, and now aware once more, he thought of a response to Cloud.
"No. Perhaps we can touch these Materia because they've been here all along. I don't believe that these are an illusion, but more likely placed here. Perhaps we may find someone deeper within. Perhaps not."
(( I wonder if this is good...because, now I'm back: I can maybe try and awaken Shiva and Auron? Shiva was kinda waiting for me to give her an idea -_- ))

Deep within the heart of the sanctuary she had uncovered; she waited. She could feel the four heroes drawing closer. Three of which from the seventh realm, and the fourth from the ninth. She still wondered what had happened that had drawn them all together like this to begin with, but she decided that the answers would come to her in due time.
The summon had casually placed Materia in the first few rooms for them to find. It was a simple gesture, but she knew just how much it would assist the three. The little black mage from the ninth realm, needed no such assistance, but she knew she would find forging a pact with him unlikely. Only a small amount of people left in the ninth realm were capable of summoning. Princess Garnet and Eiko being the two that she was aware of.
Waiting patiently, deep within Memoria's walls, she sat in her self-forged throne of ice. The room; peppered with icicles and pillars frozen completely. She had to make herself look at home. And if the icy room didn't clue them in enough, her appearance should. She sat regally, one leg drawn over the other, her long blue hair over the side.
She would wait patiently for them to arrive. They would probably need her help, as much as she would need theirs.

((Actually Vince, i need you to proceed to the next room. I really don't want to do 2 FF9 rooms in a row, and you are apparently the only person that will be here to choose a scenario. I can take over after that, so it doesn't have to be a Major post or anything, just get us from one room to the next.))

((To hell with it. I am posting. i know Shocking right? I am bored and have been loaded down with homework, so this will be a good reprieve. here it goes...))
Vivi looked around the room cautiously. He could sense a great lingering power in the room, but was not sure if it was something or someone that had been there previously, or if it was just the room it self. He didn't remember this kind of power lingering the last time he was here, so he decided that it was a former guest in the room that was still there. A thought that did not really comfort him at all... Who else was there. He walked on through the room looking around for any other little *gifts* the being had left for them, and when the were sure that there were no more left, Vivi looked at Vincent and said, " I think that we have remained here for too long. We should be moving on now." And with that Vivi started towards the door, wondering what was in store for the group next.
As they approached te wide double doors of the Treno Auction House, the ambient sounds that had been emanating through the room seemed to die down, almost as if the had all of a sudden traveled a great distance away from them. Nervous, Vivi quickly prepared some spells in his mind in case there was a great monster on the other side of the door waiting for Vivi to walk into his trap. He placed his hand on the handle, and almost immediately jumped as a voice entered his head. He did not recognize it, nor could he even tell if it was a male or female's voice. All it said was, "Turn back now, or you will die...".
"Great..." Vivi muttered under his breath. Two years ago if he had heard that he would have ran as far away as he could, but now all he could seem to muster was, "Someone else wants to kill us. Cool..." He let out a heavy sigh and focused himself then pulled the door open and quickly walked through, not even pausing to see if Vincent and the others were even following him. He felt a little uneasy, but for the last couple hours he had been feeling like he wasn't alone, yet at the same time, with the presence or presences that he was feeling we was feeling safer. Perhaps he was being scryed by some greater power, or perhaps he had unlocked something else inside of himself that he was unaware of. He did cast Ultima at the great battle of Bevelle. Maybe he had some dormant powers that he was unaware of. The question did cross his mind thoughm even though he was trying to ignore it. can i... summon eidilons...? some answers he thought might just have to wait.
He ran through the door and almost immediately ran into a Hecteyes. he quickly muttered the incantations of his fire spell and dispatched the monster and saw nothing else in the immediate proximity to him. Looking around he was trying to place where he was seeing, but he couldn't. It didn't look familiar at all. "this must be from another world... " Vivi said out loud. "Where are we...?"
