((Thanks for the update. Worry not, Kuja's not getting deleted, and I'm glad to finally hear what's going on. It's understandable-- sometimes internet is unavailable and there's nothing to be done about it. Now tell him to get his butt back here (when he gets back)! XD))

As if the Gods had smiled on him, Kuja found himself with an Eidolon practically in his lap. Could it be that, after months of tracking down anything that resembled his old power and influence, meeting important people and following leads that often proved to be wild chocobo chases, that he had simply stumbled across it in the street? Surely no such luck was afforded to any man, not even a man of Kuja’s status.
The storm was raging overhead, with rain now falling heavier than it has been only moments ago. It was something of a freak storm, but it hadn’t bothered the silver haired mage. With the rain falling and the Queen of Ice before him, Kuja felt he might we well be standing in a field of beautiful blossoming flowers with the sunlight beaming down upon him. Today was a perfect day.
“I have a spacious room at the hotel, back on the other side of town.” Kuja replied, gesturing in the direction he’d come from. “We will have privacy there.” And warmth, he thought to himself as an icy wind seemed to cut through his clothes. Whether it was the storm or the Eidolon before him was unknown, but it didn’t seem like Shiva held any ill-will towards him. “We can talk there, if you wish.” Kuja added, making a slight bow to the powerful creature posing as a girl.
This was only the beginning of a very important day, Kuja though as he smiled wistfully to himself.

Oh? An invitation to his hotel room? My, how subtle. she versed, amused by her own thought processes. It was in no means 'that' kind of invitation. Especially coming from one such as he. He, she knew; held a certain degree of class, no matter what the situation was like. She would find herself well looked after in his suite. But, even if he were a repulsive man, she would easily have been able to subdue him by merely putting him on ice, had he done something stupid.
"I trust you'll look after me," she stated, a confrontational demeanour.
She wouldn't be caught in any form of trap, that much was plainly obvious, and nor would Kuja attempt any such act. He was after all, far too classy for underhanded tactics such as traps. He liked to do things openly, make for more of a challenge if he wanted such an occurrence. It explained why he was so willing to test saviour Zidane so frequently.
She motioned for him to begin to lead their way. She knew rather little about Esthar as a location, except that she was summoned by saviour Squall once or twice during his travels. But rather, her information was drastically limited as she did not stick around in that realm, but rather disappear after assisting.
"How long have you been in Esthar? And how did you arrive?" she asked coldly. Kuja, certainly did not belong in this realm. But the world felt oddly at ends. As though not a single realm was the strong presence...but rather; a mixture of them.

Kuja made a sweeping bow before leading the way back towards the hotel he’s just emerged from. The two beings, the mage and the Eidolon, made their way through the crowd easily as if the surrounding people knew they were not to be trifled with. Perhaps it was only the Eidolon’s power they sensed, Kuja mused, as surely her knowledge of magic was far above even his own formidable level. Keeping this in mind, Kuja was careful not to offer too much information too early, as it was currently his only advantage.
“I’ve been in Esthar for many moons,” Kuja replied in mid-stride. “I ride on the wings of my dragon, who faithfully takes me anywhere the sky reaches.”
Kuja was caught momentarily by the mesmerising view of the city. From their vantage point, the city seemed to rise up from the ground into the heavens, with multicoloured lights swirling into a single myriad of colour. Automobiles, much faster and more impressive than the carts and airships, zoomed past almost lazily, as much a part of daily living as sand was to Kuja back in his palace. The ground on which they walked was slick with the rain, and the light reflected off of it causing it to seem as if they were walking on glass.
Kuja stopped in his tracks and gestured broadly towards the city looming above them. “Surely you can see why I stay? The majesty, the beauty, the power...” Kuja broke off for a moment, allowing his words to take effect. “It is a paradise, a place in which, with the right direction, anything can be made possible.”
Thunder clapped overhead, bringing the silver-haired mage back from his thoughts. Perhaps ashamed by his outburst of emotion, Kuja began leading the way back to his suite once more. “Come.” He offered, waiting for the great Eidolon to follow his lead.

Troubled, as she was by his facade, she knew she had no other option but to use him for as much information as she could get. Nothing made sense to her at this point, and it frustrated her. Why, was Vivi traveling with Cloud, Vincent and Tifa? Why had Sephiroth suddenly changed? Why was Zack's life force suddenly distinguishable once more on the planet, along with Aerith's?! It was all ridiculous, but somehow, she knew she wasn't in any of the singular realms. A ninth realm warrior, in an eighth realm location? That made things even more confusing.
His answers to her questions didn't do well to help her understand what was happening, however. Though, she did recall his dragon. The proud and elegant dragon he rode was highly aware of most things; this the summon knew. Perhaps this Aeon of ice could wrestle some information out of her, some way. But that idea was quickly shot down within the confines of her own mind. It would be rude to have an audience with her, merely for that. Kuja would have to suffice.
Kuja's words were, however true as they might be, were not something a man should seek to crave. Esthar, powerful as it was; did not need to bow before a power hungry soul from a different realm. Nor, did they even need to have a person from such a place within their jurisdiction.
He was out for power, and this new world...it simply seemed more likely to give him more to crave, to desire, to take into his grasp, and never release. This place, was not fit for greedy souls like Kuja's. Or Kefka, nor Adel...nor Xenos. Greedy, he was not. But Xenos...she could dimly -very dimly- sense his presence, lurking around; Tiamat, Bahamut's sister by his side, along with her former master and friend; Squall Leonhart, saviour of the eighth realm.
"I understand your desire to stay, however this is not your place. Hurry. We must reach your suite. You will tell me all you know, and I will share what I know; that which may be, beneficial to you." she stated, intending to give him more of a reason to press on, and more incentive to share his knowledge.
Her abilities worked well within a small enough radius, but too many of the people she knew were far too far away for her to comprehend entirely what they were doing.

Kuja cast a sidelong glance at the icy Eidolon beside him. “Not my place?” Once more Kuja spread his arms in a sweeping gesture, only this time gesturing to the world at large around him. “My place, as you put it, is gone. My palace, and even the desert it resided on, is no more.” Kuja’s head dropped slightly, allowing his saturated hair to fall in his face. “By your judgement, Eidolon, I have no place in the world.”
Kuja kept walking at a brisk place through the city which was still impressively busy even as the rain fell heavily onto the sidewalk. Kuja stopped for a moment as a man ran right past him with his briefcase over his head, and then continued walking again once he was past. It hadn’t taken the silver haired man long to get used to the bustling lifestyle of Esthar.
“I don’t know why the world has changed.” Kuja admitted, feeling this wasn’t giving anything that would be news away to the Eidolon. Not even he had the power to change, or merge, worlds into a single dimension. Kuja thought bitterly of Garland, how this could have benefited his lost cause. If Gaia and Terra could have been merged into a single world, there would be no need for any destruction to take place on Gaia. However, there would also be no use for an Angel of Death.
“What I do know, my beautiful Queen of Ice, is that whatever walls were separating the numerous worlds out there have disappeared, and with them much of the world I know.” It wasn’t hard for Kuja to look saddened by the loss of the world he’d come to know and nearly call home, though Gaia had never really been his home planet, but the excitement he felt about exploring this newly formed world wouldn’t allow him to feel homesick for long. Not since the discovery of the magnificent Esthar, anyway.
“Ah, let us talk inside.” Kuja said as the approached the doors of the hotel. “After you.”

The air given off by this man, turned cold. He was unimpressed by her choice of words, and she could tell she must have struck at a nerve that's severing had left him upset. It was unsurprising. He had just lost all he knew, so far as he was aware; at the very least. His words were well thought out, well spoken. She could not deny, that he had lost most he held dear, and that would frustrate anyone. Even someone as guarded as he.
"No one has any place in this world." she responded in kind.
She continued to follow this one, all the while attempting to sift through any thoughts she had that might be capable of explaining to her just what has occurred. With nothing coming to mind, she wasn't sure what else he could know, that she couldn't already guess, but it was worth her time to look into in the first place, so it was her decision to follow it.
She listened as he admitted his lack of information about the world. It only seemed obvious to her, but it was the truth. She knew not either. His words rung through her mind as he spoke again. He was right. The worlds had indeed collided in one of the most shocking ways imaginable.
She walked into the Hotel he'd paid for a room at, and waited for him to lead her to said room.
"Yes, thank you." she had said, as she walked past him to walk inside.
