Alright, so the Villain crew was supposed to head to the castle, but it really just makes more sense since Aerith's collapse that we head somewhere that can help her so that she doesn't have to heal herself... again. Besides. She's got to get an ether or something in her.
So! We're going to Jidoor (if it's on the map still.) Does anyone rememeber if we replaced Jidoor with something? I don't think we did.... We had the Opera House, Jidoor and replaced Zozo with Bevelle.
Anyway! That means that poor Setzer can get more involved in the story line and make some alliances with new characters! That's exciting! It also means that we can do a little exploring in the VI realm beyond the Opera house and that short visit in Narshe.
Now, I don't know anything about Jidoor, so could someone clue me in on the differences between WOB and WOR Jidoor. I know that the mansion has a different painting and it's corrupted and stuff, but I don't know anything about the people there. What's going on in Jidoor? Could someone help?

Er, actually, Jidoor appears to be in pretty good shape. I think it's possible that the people are a little bit depressed, but it's been a while since I've played. Then again, they could have been just as snooty and defiant as they were in the WoB. Can anyone verify that one? Alex? I know you have the emulation.
But realy, the baddies can hide themselves in the basement of Owzer's mansion. It could provide yet another fun turn of events for the group. And it's almost big enough to be a castle. XD
Also: While it's nice to go to Jidoor, (which I believe we originally replaced with Bevelle, but if it's Zozo instead, that's cool, too.) I still need my people. ;-; Tell The Muscle that it's time to come back, now.

I totally just found a GBA emulator for MacOSX. I'm FFVI'n away! If I can get enough hours into the game, hopefully I'll reach Jidoor by tomorrow. Then I can tell you what it's like in the WoB. After that I'll load up the file on my PC where I'm at the end of the game and I'll tell you what it's like in the WoR.

Ummmmm let's see, I don't think I have FFVI... Is it on Crystal Chronicles? I don't... I don't think I have it. I'll just follow your leads.

Crystal Chronicles? The Gamecube game? No. Final Fantasy Chronicles? ...No. Final Fantasy Chronicles does have FFIV, though.
Setzer: AIM is good enough. I start on fire when I touch programs that have an "i" in front of them. Even using the iMac makes me fever up a little. I think it's because I own an XBOX.
And I sent it to you...and it's not working...and you downloaded it...and it's working! Oh, but now it isn't. >.>

I don't know where I saw the actual conversation about this, but X isn't empty! Unless Auron now comes from another FF universe. As far as FFVI knowledge, I don't have any. xD However, knowing these places might come in handy for me in future anyway.

Funny, I didn't catch that, either. I'd fix it, but I can't. XD I'm sure Bre will when she gets the chance, though.

Yeah, there was a place where Alex was complaining about there being two Tiamat's and no Alexander though. xD And there are still two Tiamat's which makes it all the more humourous. lmao

Okay, so as far as I can gather, WoB Jidoor is full of a bunch of pompous assholes.
They forced all poor people out of town, who subsequently built Zozo (which is a way cooler town anyways, even if it is populated by crazy dancer women, men with large hooks, and freaks of testosterone called Gigas). They call people from Zozo shady, lying, thieving ner-do-wells. To be fair, that is an entirely accurate description of almost everyone from that Zozo. There's apparently a class divide, with the middle-class people living at the south end of town while the rich live north. They're fans of opera and art in Jidoor. Someone tells you to straighten up your posture, and the children are quite obviously spoiled. The man by the entrance annoys the hell out of me by referring to the world map by its name, ruining the fantasy of it all. As FFVI is rather short on houses that are of no damn use to anyone and exist only to confuse the easily lost (thank you very much FFIV), that's really all there was to Jidoor. They seem to define themselves through their disdain for Zozo. I assume they're jealous of Zozo's theme music, Slam Shuffle, which is just about the coolest music for a town ever. If only it served any of the functions a town is supposed to...
Jidoor in the WoR is surprisingly unchanged. The geography around the town is much different, but it's still the westernmost town on the map, and the town itself looks as though it wasn't even on Kefka's list. Some of the townspeople speak of being more open to the poor these days, but for the most part they remain unchanged. The people in the auction house still regard you as poor scum, the children are still spoiled, they still like opera, and they still like art. In fact, the only way the world's end has influenced Jidoor beyond their new openness to the poor is that the new art craze is painting pictures that reflect the world's fall into ruin. Well, that and the auction house has rarer items. Oh, and Owzer is finally visible. He is a fat, froglike man with an unnecessarily complicated basement. He collects art. The art has a tendency to try to kill you.

=D Aerith played in the last Opera! YAYAY! But her once fine garb is now torn to hell and back thanks in part to Sinspawn. And now back to our regularly scheduled programming

Jidoor sounds dull. I'd be easily bored by that place.
I'm off to Zozo people!

D: But Jidoor is Setzer's home town! Not that he cares to associate himself with them-- they're a little too tied down to the ground for his tastes. It would be hilarious to walk into the basement of Owzer's mansion to find Squall painting a giant picture of Aerith, with an obese Xenos watching on. The imagery is priceless.

That would actually be extraordinarily amusing.
Nice idea Setz! xD

HAHAHAHA. No. Obese? NEVER.
Thanks for the info, guys. Aerith told me that Bevelle DID replace Jidoor, not Zozo, but I really did want to give Setzer a chance to be more involved in the story line, which is why I thought Jidoor would be a good place. Sure it's a little more "boring" than we normally want, but Xenos needs a place to get Aerith well and talk some things out. Xenos can get them into "snooty" places, but I really wanna keep Jidoor. T_T
If we want, we can go to Zozo, but I don't know how the villains would work their magic there.... I mean.... that sort of grungy place, I don't think Xenos could find his way. I also have a hard time imagining him in FFI Midgar where everything is falling apart.... Too much white on his costume to get stained. XD
