Greetings. Here I am, pole-vaulting into the deep end of the pool and applying for an oddball character… I am applying for Artemicion, the Superslick using moogle from Final Fantasy IX, the one responsible for Mognet breaking down. I would like to start as a monk, because some good offense would do the little moogle good. You can contact me at alatedlythis@hotmail.com
Though if the admin would prefer a different moogle, I am more then willing to try again. Wish me luck, kupo! ;D
It is raining in the highlands on his way to Dali, post game.
Artemicion tried not to think about the trouble he had just caused again. Superslick was just too good, it made his fur soft. By now Mognet would have broken down again, the gears had begun to grind when he left in all due haste. The reason he gave was simple enough, a letter of urgency that must be delivered, which was true, but convenient. It had been raining all through his final mail trip through the highlands, and while the superslick caused the rain to bead up and run off of his fur, his pompom was soaked through. This bothered him, as it hung heavy in front of his face, and while it did drip steadily, it had not got any dryer in the rain. Annoyed, he batted the pompom out of his face only for it to smack wetly against the side of his head a moment later, then settle in front of his face once again. He sighed, and commented to the rain, “I should have used superslick on my pompom too, kupo!” The rain paid him no mind, continuing to pour down on his head, leaving him to walk in an abject silence for several minutes.
He thought for a moment he spotted something in the distance in the corner of his eye, but he shrugged it off as a trick of the light, but picked up the pace all the same, just in case it was one of those beasties. He coughed to clear his throat and mused to himself, “I wonder if that person has anymore superslick. Maybe I could get some and fix up the Mognet before anyone noticed it shut down… and fix up my pompom too, kupo.” As he hurried along he, in a bout of absent mindedness, batted the soaked pompom again, with the same result of it smacking wetly against the side of his head. “Ouch, Kupo! I need to stop doing that….” He pawed the last letter to be delivered anxiously as Dali came into view in the distance. He was eager to deliver it, and search for his much needed superslick, more for himself then Mognet. After all he had his fur to think about, without the superslick it wouldn't be so soft.
