The ex general raised an eyebrow. What was happening? Seems that other people were still alive and, futhermore, some didn't remember what had happened before. Then some things started to make sense. Yes, he was brought to life, not a choose, but it happened, and seemed some others have came back too. Past and future were mixed down. Aeris? The thought of the memory returning to his head made that unspeakable pain return once again. The ancient that he had killed because she was... "Damn..." No doubt that the annoying headache that had followed him all the adventure but had been kept hidden came back with uneasy strenght and he hold his forehead with one of his black gloved hands. Tried not to show that off, though, like it was a sign of weakness, so Sephiroth kept his voice intonation as serious as always. "I don't think we have the intention to help each other's here. But if it's information you want to share, i may think that some of you don't know me, or others know me too much - the silver clad man sent a sarcastic glance to Cloud - so that's enough for us to not trust each other, don't you think?" He closed the eyes, trying to hold the pain as he continued speaking. "I will only say that i'm not the man you once met before. Not anymore. But i warn you not to come any closer." Suddenly he looked to Zack with the corner of his eyes. That Aeris they were talking about was Zack's girlfriend...the woman he killed and the easy-going soldier acted like he had forgiven. What he would do now that she was still alive? Certainly she wouldn't like to see the general again...what would he choose to do? ((You know, i had already met Vincent once and he found out i'm his son, but he didn't tell me...i mean, we pretended...seems this is another Vincent...now what do i do? I forget the rp of before? That's not a problem, it's just for me to know what to do...^^ )

Reno swallowed. "A... Aerith?" Kidnapped? Well that was just amazing. Someone was out to do his dirty work... but with ShinRa gone, who would be after her? "Lucky for you guys, I know Aerith, but I haven't seen her anywhere around." He looked to Sephiroth, then to Zack. "Well... at least she's alive." He scratched his head and exhaled, "So I guess things could be worse, right?" Reno felt stuck right in the middle of something terrible. He either needed to stay with ShinRa-- with something he knew and trusted, or try to make up for some of the terrible things that he'd been paid to do.... but Tifa.... He looked at her for a brief moment. She didn't even remember Aerith. What if she didn't remember the sector 7 collapse?
Finally the red-head turned to Zack and Sephiroth. "I know we're ShinRa and we should stay together, but Aerith is missing, Zack. That means she's still here and, Sephiroth, that means that you haven't done anything wrong." He tapped the night stick at his side. "It's really none of our business, but would it be out of our interests to prove that you're not the evil General anymore? It's a gamble, but you want to see her, don't you, Zack? This is all of our chance to do something that we need to do." He grinned widely and threw his hand into the middle of the circle. "Whaddya say? Should we try this thing out?"

Shifting, Tifa watched the red-headed Turk carefully. His gaze was very direct, and there seemed something...almost sad in it. He quickly masked it though, turning to his cohorts. Tifa exhaled, and realized with a start that she had been holding her breath. "So where do we go from here?" She murmured softly, turning herself to Cloud, Setzer, and Vivi. Strands of her long dark hair blew into her face from a sudden gust, and she tucked them behind her ear. "Do you think we should -" Cutting off with a gasp, Tifa pointed across Cloud's chest and the other side of the airship. A dark man outfitted in tattered red cloth had just appeared seemingly out of a mass of fog. Her alarm only increased when she saw him draw a weapon. "Cloud!" She hissed quietly, interjecting the next phrase with as much urgency as possible, "That man...came out of nowhere...and he has a gun!" (Bleh. I don't like this post. But I am still sick and it gets the job done for now. We needed activity here )

Vivi turned quickly when Tifa spoke. He saw the man and started bringing his spells to the front of his mind preparing for a fight.
wait... he thought. He didn't even know who this man was. But he was ready for anything at this point.
(Don't worry, I am not to fond of my post either. But activity is key.)

Cloud returned Sephiroth's gaze with his own cold glare, the meaning behind plain to everyone present. Cloud would be willing to work with his enemy, at least for now...He had made similiar compromises before. But as soon as he got the chance, he and Sephiroth would settle the score. For good, this time.
The sound of a cape fluttering caught Cloud's attention, and he turned to find another old friend. But was this the same Vincent he knew? He didn't have time to ponder, as Tifa's accusing finger flew across his field of vision, startling him. He took a step back, blinking.
"Easy, Tifa."
He said as he lowered her arm.
"He's a friend."
Cloud turned toward his whole ally, and gave him a nod. He noticed his confused state, and the way he was waving that gun around could only mean he had seen Sephiroth.
"Vincent. It's ok, for now. You can put the gun down, for now. Aerith's in trouble, so I doubt you won't find a use for it before long."

Setzer stared in something similar to disbelief -- he had to make sure his jaw hadn't dropped in the semi-panic. They all seemed to know eachother. He glanced at Vivi, the only one of the group that didn't seem completely in the dark, and shook his head. What he was sure of was that they were losing time -- and fast. How could he not feel helpless?

(( "^^ Sorry guys, been a bit out of it...busy and whatnot...YAY! Post time XD )) Vincent looked at Cloud, to where the familiar voice had come from. What was going on? Cloud looked his appropriate age, but Tifa looked somehow younger...what had happened to the Planet? Had everything somehow, altered? He looked again at Sephiroth, and then to Reno. "Cloud?" the only words he could muster. What was worse, the fog over his mind was still yet to completely clear. Something wasn't right, and Vincent wasn't happy, not that he ever really was, anyway, but the return to Sephiroth, his being with Reno and a SOLDIER looking man, was no good. "Wait...Aerith?" he finally took to realising the word had been spoken. In the past, Aerith's name had been silent by unspoken consent, but suddenly she was mentioned, and alive no less? He walked towards Cloud, and only then noticed the small child-like being, in a blue tunic with a big hat. But there was another, a scarred man, who looked somehow out of place amongst this group, however, the child looked along the same path. They didn't seem to have any importance, amongst this group, all of whom knew each other, in some strange, deranged, psychopathic way. "Explain the situation." he stated. He had no idea, not even the ghost of a guess could help him in this situation. Tifa didn't recognise him, Cloud seemed completely unphased by Vincent's sudden appearance among them. Sephiroth, Reno and...the other man, all seemed to be as though they were living in the time of ShinRa...but hadn't that long since passed? Nothing was making any sense. "Have I been absent long?" he asked Cloud, keeping his eye on the ex-General in SOLDIER. He couldn't recall anything recent...everything was a blur from the time after they defeated Sephiroth for the last time. ((Seph, so the last Vince you met up with, found out he was your daddy? Cool. xD Come 'ere sonny boy! joking! Nah, well, we can always make ourselves a new story. After all, I am a different Vincent, however I'm probably further progressed FFVII story-wise than the previous...maybe?))

((Right then, dad! o/))
The general raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms. "And suddenly we get together as missed old friends" - he said, with his usual sarcasm. Looking at the horizon, though, trying to organize his thoughts and ignore the pain, the man added. "It's obvious that both past and future collided. People who are supposed to be dead or memories that never seemed to have happened are in a somewhat vortex. Interesting... I wonder if some other people are still alive..." Sephiroth straightened his eyes, anger sparking. "...because it would be a pleasure to send them back..."
He moved his eyes to meet Vincent's, after some time. That man was in the final fight with Cloud, if his memories were working well, when both defeated him. But, futhermore, he looked extremely familiar. The ex general murmured, changing his thoughts suddenly.
"...Is it possible that we also could change past and future?"

Reno gave a shaky laugh. "Well, that wasn't the enthusiasm I was going for, but it'll work." I really hope that we're right about Sephiroth.... if it turns out he IS evil, who knows what we'll do.... His thoughts were not shown by his casual demeanor. He turned on his heel. "Well that does it, it looks like we're in!" Reno shoved his hands in his pockets and approached Tifa with as much of a grin as he could muster (which was still pretty large and pretty damn genuine is he did say so himself). "We'll help you find Aerith. We were just wandering anyway," He pulled one hand out of his pocket and slung it over Tifa's shoulder in an attempt to guide her towards the ShinRa group-- unknowing that Sephiroth was the killer of her father. "We'll do anything we can to help you out, Tifa. Just say the word!" He raised his eyebrows, "Surely the search would be more entertaining away from such an uptight crowd." He eyed Vincent and especially Cloud.
((Damn.... if he just wiggled his eyebros and said "It'll be fun, I promise," this would be my boyfriend....))

((I'm such a hypocritical bastard))
Zack was so distracted by the airship, god DAMN it was awesome, that he didn't even hear his name mentioned. It wasn't until they said something about Aerith that he finally came back. He ran over, grabbed Cloud by the shoulders and locked eyes - mako blue to mako blue. "What do you mean, Cloud? You've seen her? Is she alright? Come on, man, spit it out!" They stayed that way for a moment, then Zack backed away. The remainder of their conversation slowly sank in through his impressively thick skull. He was still filled with protective anger, but he kept it inside to forge it and hone it to a razor's edge. Zack very rarely got angry, but this was one of them. His blue eyes burned like the heart of flame; his hand caressed the Soldier's Saber strapped across his back. Once they were all agreed, the SOLDIER motioned for them to move out. "Let's go. If Aerith's here, we'll find her."
((oh, lawd, it's been a while))

Wide eyed, Tifa stared disbelieving up at the redhead who had his arm so casually around her shoulder as he guided her away from Cloud. Distantly, the thought registered that he smelled nice, but she was too distracted by being seperated from Cloud, Setzer, and Vivi to pay it much mind. Looking over her shoulder, her eyes sought out Cloud's, but the SOLDIER with dark hair stood in the way, blocking her view. Eyes sweeping to Setzer and Vivi, she hoped one of them would follow, and bring Cloud with them. She had so few people she could trust, and a Turk who seemed in cahoots with Sephiroth seemed to be someone she couldn't.
Turning her face back up towards the tall man, her eyes narrowed. "Why should I trust a Turk? Especially a Turk that keeps company with Sephiroth." She placed a hand against him to push away, but his arm held her tightly. He was strong.
Deciding to wait patiently until he let his guard down, she watched his pale eyes, waiting for a response.

Reno blinked, his arms acting under trained reaction. He grinned and lifted his arms away as though in defeat. "Sorry, I didn't know you felt that way." His smile fell, "Just because I'm a Turk doesn't make me the 'bad guy' you know. It's just a paying job." He sighed, "Besides, the General.... he's had a few problems, but we've all been trying to support him. You've gotta understand, we're all we've got." He looked to the main group, Zack seeming to try to bruise Cloud's arm. "You probabaly already know." He smiled sadly and shook off the forlorn feeling. "That's not important. We need to find Zack's girl, right?" He winked to Tifa, his better nature habitually taking over.

Setzer had watched the exchange between Zack and Cloud intently. The black-haired one knew Aerith, that was obvious, and he seemed so, SO concerened for her wellbeing that the captain couldn't help but take notice. Motioning for Vivi to follow, he moved to flank Zack momentarily. He kept a wary eye on Tifa, but kept back. The girl was strong-- she could take care of herself.
"You know her," he started carefully, eyes forward as he addressed Zack beside him. "Aerith. I'm... sorry that we lost sight of her. A few of us nearly lost our lives trying to keep her safe." The captain bowed his head slightly, glancing at the man beside him. "She's strong, though. You must know that. I'm sure she'll be fine." He offered a warm, assuring smile, though he couldn't be sure it would make a difference.
With that, Setzer turned, and jogged forward a few steps. He was relieved, in some respect, to no longer be leading the group. He had never been much of a leader, no, more of a loner. There aren't a lot of social oppurtunities in the sky.
That didn't mean, of course, that he wouldn't keep an eye on a few choice people...

Vivi was starting to feel very uncomfortable around all of these people with this very apparent hate for each other. He saw the man approach Cloud, and saw Setzer follow to his side almost like he was trying to corner him. He saw Tifa glance over at him. She looked like she was looking for an escape. Vivi thought that maybe he could help. He nodded at Tifa hoping that she would take advantage of his distraction. Still with his spells in the front of his mind. Vivi's hands tightened around his staff as he started circling it in a cyclone fashion in front of him. He concentrated deep in to his mind pulling his arcane power from deep within. A spot on the shoulder of the red-haired man on the other side of Tifa burst into a small fire. He hoped that would distract the man enough for her to get out.
"I think that she can walk on her own just fine", Vivi said to the Red-haired man trying to keep the tensions down to avoid a fight.
He then moved over to Setzer's side, like he had motioned to Vivi he wanted, his glare still locked on the Red-haired man. Vivi was far from comfortable, and still ready for anything.
(( I hope that this isn't too much))
((At least it was only fire 1...))
