Bevelle

The Highbridge of Bevelle, once unsurpassed in its glory, now sits an empty wasteland-- the aftermath of the Lunar Cry left the bustling city entrance barren and silent save the hushed cries of the few survivors. Once long, rich banners now dust the ground in tattered disarray like ancient carpets of an abandoned fortress.

Beyond the Highbridge lie the roads into town where corpses of Sinspawn and humans alike litter the once richly-stoned streets. The far-off temple has collapsed into itself leaving only an open crater where the final Aeon, Bahamut, once lay dormant and in its place deep below the ground, is the towering nightmare, The Lunatic Pandora.

Everything this once beautiful city had to offer has been torn apart by monsters, mist and the desperate attempt to end the fighting with the most pure magic: Ultima. Vague shadows of the Unsent wander these city streets like wraiths in search of their false god, Yevon.
